CSI Miami, guest starring Magnum P.I.

The other day I was wearing my super cool Ray Ban aviators. I couldn’t help feeling a little bit like Horatio, my least favorite character on CSI Miami, and obviously, the only thing that stops CSI Miami from being my favorite of the CSIs. I felt like I should be making, or should have just made a comment in an extremely douchy I-don’t-give-a-fuck way. It got me thinking that maybe the problem isn’t Horatio as a person, but maybe the Horatio effect (as I’ve now dubbed it) is a direct result of wearing super cool sunglasses. Who else doesn’t give a fuck? That’s right, world champion mustache grower Magnum PI (less commonly known as Tom Selleck…just kidding, you’re famous, you). He also wears cool sunglasses in a tropical atmosphere. The big difference between the two is really their day to day business wear. Hello hawaiian shirt, what’s that you say? Oh, you’re awesome and bring a relaxed attitude everywhere you are?

I decided to create an outfit that would honor both the Horatio effect and the radness that is Magnum PI while keeping it cool for summer (see what I did there?)
