Well it’s about that time. While the weather is still in the 80s and holding through the night, the fashion world is winding down and releasing their fall items. One of my favorite things about the fall (aside from the changing leaves, which THANKFULLY I still get in Northern California) are sweaters. There’s nothing quite as cozy or as cozy looking as a good sweater. I love the fisherman sweaters, the fair isle sweaters, any name you can think of sweaters, I love it. I love the bulky ones, especially, because they look the warmest, and the most comfortable. I’m sure 90% of what I want from J.Crew will be gone by the time I can (if I ever can) afford them, so I’ll do some shameless plugging right now. J.Crew has THE MOST amazing sweaters out right now. In brilliant colors I might add.
Hands down, one of my favorite colors to wear is yellow (it’s a rare person that can pull off that color, and I happen to be one of them, so I wear my yellow with pride), but this fall, I can predict the big color will be red.
Prior to have being beaten over the head with this lately (literally every clothing site I go to has red something or other) I was feeling very into red while watch shopping.
This new trend bodes well for my wardrobe, especially since red is one color that’s sorely lacking in it.
Best advice for the fall? Wear sweaters and look like foliage (color wise at least).
