Perfection (Or as close as you can get)
One of my biggest “fashion” staples, my guiltiest pleasure, and probably biggest bank account drainer would have to be a graphic tee. It’s so easy to go wrong here…I mean the word graphic tee can inspire Walmart images of those dumb “I’m cute” or “You’re stupid (subtext, I’m actually really stupid for wearing such a stupid t-shirt)” shirts.
Anyone who truly knows me, and I believe I’ve been quoted as saying as much, nothing quite lives up to your favorite t-shirt and a pair of jeans. In fact, a lot of brands have capitalized on the concept. I’m going to leave you with a few of my old favorites, some new favorites, and a stunning example of my work in Photoshop, which of course is close to professional…I kid, it’s really just experimentation since I’m more of an acquaintance with it now…(thank you UC Davis educational system…I’m only being half sarcastic right now).
Not featured, but always an amazing brand for graphic tees, comfort and style included is Marc by Marc Jacobs specialty item t-shirts. Very reasonably priced at $35 a pop.
Wildfox has also been known to make one out of every 15 graphic tees that I find acceptable, so I would peruse them as well, even if they didn’t make my list.
Rxmance at madewell.com $65, Laugh Cry Repeat at madewell.com $66, TokyoLux $52 at tokyolux.com, Torn $90 at shopplanetblue.com, and UNIF (Suck my Richard) $54 at unifclothing.com

TokyoLux is something I just recently discovered in my second mourning for the UNIF Meow t-shirt I happened to miss out on buying at eBay. The first time was my fault, although I mourned the loss just the same. The second time was my bank accounts fault, combined with not being able to justify the buying price to my ever vigilant boyfriend. While I do have final say in these matters, I think part of me didn’t want to be let down in a bidding war, especially when I didn’t think the price would pass $65, which is generally my max price amount for a good graphic tee. Anyway, I’m flat out in love with TokyoLux’s cat print tees.
As for the UNIF and rxmance tees…well let me say I haven’t been this excited about your basic muscle sleeve t-shirt since I got a Philip Lim 3.1 t-shirt for $15 at Crossroads.
